Instructions for use
- Thoroughly clean the surface from grease and dust, ideally with Isopropyl (99% pure alcohol).
- Peel off the backing paper.
- Stick the foil to the intended location and smooth it out with a spatula or cotton cloth.
General principles for gluing foils.
The ideal temperature for bonding is 20 - 26 °C.
We do not recommend sticking the foil if the outside temperature drops below 20°C, or if the temperature rises above 30°C. At low temperatures, the foil is difficult to handle and the adhesiveness is lower.
The temperature of the substrate is also important - in the winter months it is good to glue in heated rooms or warm the substrate with a hairdryer.
We stick the foils only on smooth and solid surfaces (paint, metal, plastic). On some thicker and uneven surfaces, the foil has less adhesion and durability.
At the end of the gluing, make sure repeatedly that the foil adheres well to the glued surface and the edges. It is a good idea to go over the edges, as well as the entire glued surface, several times, or heat it with a hair dryer. The heat from the heat gun will increase the stickiness of the foil.
