The third generation of the Race heritage is now available! The Race 25 29” is lightweight, with unbeatable lateral stiffness and a look that will take you to another level. The wheel is equipped with our best-selling ClimbHill hub. The hub is CNC machined in our factory from aerospace grade aluminum, thus demonstrating increased fatigue strength and low weight. The anodizing ensures a great look and prevents corrosion, even under the toughest circumstances. Assembled and adjusted by hand in Buggingen, Germany, the Race 25 29” boasts the highest quality standards—guaranteed! The geometry has been optimized for a balanced, stiff wheel. The Crest MK4 29 rim is made with high-performance aluminum alloy, which confers competitive weight, great ride stability, and the best durability on the market. Its asymmetric profile enables a better-balanced wheel build. The shot peen finish applied to the surface of the rim increases its fatigue life and durability. Its 25mm inner width provides exceptional versatility in tire pairing. With its low height, the rim is radially compliant, thus improving traction over bumps and chatter. The wheel build is completed with D-Light spokes from Sapim, which are double butted and save weight compared to a conventional spoke; also, they have the best price/weight ratio on the market. Typical for Tune, this wheel is available in seven colors for the hub, the nipples, and the decals to make your bike as unique as you are.
