VOLspeed V4 specifications:

Supports all generations gen2/3/4/ Active Line, Performance Line, Performance CX from 2014-2022 and the latest Bosch firmware from 2022 , Purion / Intuvia / Kiox / NYON / NYON 2021 displays (incompatible with BOSCH SMART SYSTEM BES3 2022/23 )

Bosch engines have new anti-tuning software that detects not only engine tampering, but also mechanical tuning (magnet position changes, etc.) that alter the measured speed, so most previous tuning methods will not work. When detected, the engine automatically switches to emergency mode (Limbo mode - Error 504 - need to visit a Bosch dealer)

VOLspeed V4 with its own control unit does not interfere with engine performance (does not increase it), so there is no risk of engine damage due to overload.
VOLspeed V3 removes the 25km/h software speed limit , or increases the limit to any user-specified value from 25-45 km/h with maintaining engine support max 250W / 85 Nm .

Compared to the competing SpeedBox, Volspeed is more stable (minimal to no detection by anti-tuning software) and no "recalculation" is required at the end of each ride.

Installation (even an ordinary customer can do it at home):

1. Remove the engine cover
(On some e-bikes, it will also be necessary to remove the left crank with a puller )
2. Disconnect 2 connectors from the motor and connect them to the module. Connect the same connectors from the module to the motor.
3. Insert the battery into the e-bike and turn on the display/e-bike
4. The V4 chip does not need to be installed, it is installed automatically (PLUG&PLAY)
5. Reinstall the engine cover, activate the Chip with the selected button (or combination of buttons) and go for a ride.
Recommendation:
The set Limit from 25-35 km/h still has optimal energy consumption, above 35 km/h the consumption increases and thus shortens the range

LIFETIME WARRANTY

It covers the functionality and compatibility of the chip on the current and previous firmware of the drive at the time of sale . The warranty does not cover the inoperability of the chip after a later update of the drive, with which the chip may no longer be compatible!

WARNING BEFORE UPDATING

Before visiting the service center, it is necessary to physically remove the Chip from the drive! The Chip manufacturer does not recommend updating the drive. If using a mobile application (e.g. Ebike flow), turn off automatic updates. If this is not necessary, please always consider updating the drive. Each update contains improved anti-tuning software that can detect the Chip and disable the Chip or temporarily block the drive (Emergency mode / Limbo mode). In such a case, we recommend removing the Chip and checking the functionality of the drive.
If the drive works without removing the Chip (i.e. the Chip is defective), contact us with an exact description of the bike and the situation.
If the problem persists (i.e. the drive itself is defective, not the Chip), please visit your bicycle dealer.
