Competition drives innovation, and as race organizers create increasingly difficult and technically demanding courses, the limits of lightweight components are being pushed. That's why we've refined the FOX 32 Step-Cast fork to meet the needs of today's racers. A redesigned crown with minimal weight increases stiffness to the same level as our FOX 34 trail fork.

Technologies:
STEP-CAST (SC) - The distinctive shape of the outer lower legs isn't just for looks, they utilize a narrow shape to reduce weight and the design creates additional space for the spokes and brake rotor. The FOX 32 SC features 32mm diameter inner legs with ample bushing overlap for a quality ride, and hollow lower legs provide even greater weight savings.
FIT4 – The fourth generation of the patented FIT closed cartridge allows for adjustment compression at the crown in three positions (Open, Medium, Closed) while riding for the best possible adaptation of the damping to the riding conditions (with remote control it offers only two positions: Open-Closed). The top-of-the-line Factory Series forks also have the option of fine-tuning the open position (within a range of 22 clicks) so that each rider can adjust the compression to their own preferences.
FLOAT (FOX Load Optimum Air Technology) – air suspension for all FOX FLOAT forks from 100 to 200mm of travel is improved with a specific air piston with a more linear resistance/compression force curve that is as similar as possible to that of a steel spring. Since 2018, the 32, 34, 36 and 40 series forks have been equipped with the new FLOAT system with a weight reduction and reduced force required to tear the fork from the rest position. This provides excellent sensitivity to small bumps for all riders and pressure settings.
AIR VOLUME SPACERS - The progressiveness of the compression can be additionally fine-tuned using spacers in the positive air chamber, which allow each rider to fine-tune the suspension according to their own requirements and riding preferences.
EVOL (EXTRA VOLUME) - The enlarged negative air chamber significantly improves the fork's response. This increases comfort as the breakaway moment can be reduced. In addition, the more linear spring characteristic offers better performance, especially in the middle of the stroke.
KASHIMA COAT – A revolutionary technology for coating the inner legs by adding molybdenum disulfide to micropores by electrical means, used exclusively on FOX Factory Series forks and shocks. The brown-gold surface of the legs reduces mechanical friction by up to 40% compared to conventional hard anodizing. It gives the fork a buttery smooth ride and is much more resistant to mechanical damage.
KABOLT – Leverless thru-axle for an Allen key with a diameter of 15mm increasing the overall stiffness of the fork by up to 25% and torsional stiffness by 15% at a significantly lower weight compared to the FOX QR15 quick release axle.
