FOX has updated its 34mm suspension forks for 2022 with a lighter, stiffer design, smoother internals, and better adjustability than ever before.
The lower legs have a new bridge shape, taken from the 36/38/40 high-stroke forks. This arch optimizes the stiffness-to-weight ratio, protruding further forward, which is in line with the trend, and ensuring sufficient clearance at full compression.
On the back of the lower legs you will find channels that serve to increase the volume of air, as a result of which a gradual reduction in pressure is ensured, ensuring that the fork is able to reach full compression. The channels also serve to circulate oil to the upper parts of the lower legs and regularly lubricate the foam rings and inserts
when pressing the fork.

TECHNOLOGIES:
GRIP 2 DAMPING: FOX has taken GRIP2 damping to the next level by adding patented VVC technology to the high-speed compression circuit. VVC is a patented variable valve control system that allows external fine tuning suspension performance. GRIP2 accomplishes what would normally require the time-consuming and complicated task of completely disassembling and reassembling the fork with the turn of a control wheel. It allows for adjustment of high and low speed compression and high and low speed rebound.
FLOAT AIR SUSPENSION: The lightweight FLOAT air suspension system automatically balances positive and negative air chambers for increased responsiveness and traction regardless of air pressure setting. Riders can fine-tune the positive air spring characteristics with Volume Air inserts.
AIR VOLUME SPACERS - The progressiveness of the compression can be additionally fine-tuned using spacers in the positive air chamber, which allow each rider to fine-tune the suspension according to their own requirements and riding preferences.
EVOL (EXTRA VOLUME) - The enlarged negative air chamber significantly improves the fork's response. This increases comfort as the breakaway moment can be reduced. In addition, the more linear spring characteristic offers better performance, especially in the middle of the stroke.
KASHIMA COAT – A revolutionary technology for coating the inner legs by adding molybdenum disulfide to micropores by electrical means, used exclusively on FOX Factory Series forks and shocks. The brown-gold surface of the legs reduces mechanical friction by up to 40% compared to conventional hard anodizing. It gives the fork a buttery smooth ride and is much more resistant to mechanical damage.
