Liquid paraffin-based chain lubricant. Special Parafilm™ formulation allows the lubricant to penetrate the chain rollers, where it later hardens into a soft wax. Degrease the chain completely.

How to lubricate a chain that has been lubricated with other lubricants

Soak the chain for half an hour in undiluted Squirt biodegradable bike cleaner or other chain cleaner.

Use a brush to loosen dirt.

Rinse the chain and let it dry.

Apply wax to the chain link by link and let it dry.

When and how often should the chain be lubricated?

It is best to apply lube after riding. This will give the wax enough time to dry and the chain will be ready for the next ride. When riding in the wet, it is essential to lube the chain the day before so that the wax has time to dry. Over time, you will learn when to apply lube based on the riding conditions.
