Industry Nine Dumonde Tech Freehub Pawls Oil
Dumonde Tech Freehub Oil compatible with all Industry Nine freehubs.
Special oil intended as a lubricant for latches, springs, ratchets in bicycle hub nuts
Our Classic Freehub Oil is a great addition to the bicycle market and another excellent product from Dumonde Tech.
Freehub Oil is the original lubricant on the market specifically designed for Pawl type freehubs that require a light lubricant. Freehub Oil performs consistently over a wide temperature range. The "Flow Point" is -40 degrees, has extremely low friction and provides the greatest protection. Simply follow the manufacturer's specification for the volume of oil required in the freehub body to experience the superior performance of Dumonde Tech's Freehub Oil.
Due to the light weight of Freehub Oil, there are increasing reports of its use in other applications. It can be used as a lubricant for cables and brake levers due to the small moving parts and light spring they have. Time and low temperatures do not affect the performance of Freehub Oil as much as lubricants with higher viscosity, time and temperature aging. As they age, they become thicker and stickier, which slows down the operation of the parts.

Application and comparison of oil vs. grease DUMONDE
If you want the hub to operate as loudly as possible, use Dumonde oil.
On the other hand, if you prefer the quietest possible operation, choose Dumonde grease.

Recommendation: To achieve higher noise levels, a maximum of one drop per latch is sufficient, but we recommend lubricating at more frequent intervals, every 50 hours.
