The Maxxis Dissector is a fast enduro tire designed by Australian DH star Troy Brosnan. The tire was developed for the optimal combination of low rolling resistance and best cornering grip.
So this versatile tire is actually designed for the rear wheel, but depending on the surface it can also be used on the front wheel or both.
Troy Brosnan wanted to develop a unique jacket that would go insanely fast, cut corners precisely, and slow down accordingly when needed.
3C Maxx Terra
The right 3C compound for enduro and freeride tires. Ease of movement uphill, as well as the best downhill grip, characterize this compound and its long service life.
EXO Protection
This extremely durable material protects the sidewall against abrasion. It is very densely woven, lightweight and very flexible.
As a result, the performance of the tires remains convincingly good.
Tubeless Ready (TR)
Tubeless tires have many advantages: you can ride with less air pressure. This gives you better traction and reduces rolling resistance.
And where there is no tube, the risk of a puncture is also reduced. Maxxis TR tires are better prepared for mounting with sealant than other “tubeless” tires. The bead of a TR tire is completely covered with a rubber layer like a true UST tubeless tire.
