Fork FOX Podium Factory Grip X2 29" 170mm 58HT 2026
If you are interested, please call us to check current availability! The axle/hub is a downhill standard 20x110mm BOOST!
• the 58HT version is suitable for bicycles and e-bikes with a 58mm head tube (Mechanical MTBs and older eMTBs use 58HT. More modern eMTBs use 68HT. If you are interested in 68HT, let us know)
FOX designed this inverted fork to achieve the absolute maximum performance of the GRIP X2 suspension, with every possible benefit to its smoothness and reliability in stiffness.
The Podium's biggest advantage over all other forks is its incredible stiffness in the front-to-rear direction. The combination of 47mm upper legs and a massive crown creates the basis for the stiffest fork possible, approaching the FOX 40 DH fork, so you can conquer even the most demanding and steepest routes with absolute confidence, even at high speed downhill.
By using a special 20x110 Boost DH steel axle (instead of the standard 15x110mm axle typically found on forks), FOX has achieved optimal torsional stiffness for the Podium, which has been proven through extensive testing by their engineers and athletes.
Bushings are Teflon sleeves that connect the upper and lower parts of the fork. There are two bushings in each leg, for a total of four in the fork. “Bushing overlap” refers to the distance between the upper and lower bushings in each leg. When the fork is loaded in a fore-aft direction (such as when overcoming an obstacle on the track), this bending force is transferred through the bushings.
The inverted construction configuration allowed FOX to design the Podium with a massive 175mm of bushing overlap. That's 32% more overlap than the 38 and even 7% more than the 200mm-travel FOX 40 DH fork. This overlap not only contributes to greater fore-and-aft stiffness, but also gives the Podium an advantage in similar to the lowest possible chassis friction, especially when overcoming difficult terrain at high speed, when the bending loads on the fork are greatest.
Traditional forks rely on the up-and-down cyclic motion of the suspension to spray oil upward and lubricate the seals. The oil inside the Podium fork is pulled down to the seals by gravity, constantly lubricating the internal seals.
Another advantage is that the same gravity also means that debris tends to fall off the seals, reducing the chance of contamination.
FOX PODIUM features:
• custom GRIP X2 damping settings
• upper and lower legs made of duralumin 7050
• easy access, tool-free air vents
• motocross-inspired composite lower leg protectors and hose guide
• 20x110 mm Boost
• E-MTB approved for system weight up to 169 kg
• compatible with 200-230 mm brake discs
• weight from 2695g
