High-quality air shock absorber with The 2-position Open/Firm control lever, which retains the high and low speed compression settings, has received many improvements since the 2021 model year:
• complete redesign, damping and improved "bumper" for progressive resistance before the stop
• 8-position high-speed compression (HSC) and rebound (HSR) adjustment matches that of GRIP2 suspension forks
• HSR now uses Variable Valve Control technology
• The pedaling damper lockout is stiffer than the previous X2 version, thanks to a separate damper lockout valve
• shorter shock expansion chamber ensures compatibility with more bike frames
• stiffer shock absorber body to reduce hysteresis – damping force delay
• improved air chamber requires fewer inserts to achieve the same support
• new seals with lower friction and a more durable piston rod finish.
