LOC 2.0
The 2-way locking system is improved to prevent any rocking when pedaling on any surface. The LOK system is fully customizable and has a relief valve that prevents any damage if you forget to open the LOK lever before riding downhill. It consists of a completely independent valve system that controls the flow of oil in a separate chamber. The force developed to prevent any rocking can be selected and adjusted by the rider according to his preferences. Version 2.0 offers more support and is quieter than the previous version.

Ultra-low friction treatment
Most of the sliding parts that make up the EXT dampers are developed with UltraLow friction technology. The shaft is modified to increase durability, strength and reduce friction. The sliding bushings are made of carbon graphite, the seals are custom made and developed to not weaken and maintain consistency in controlling the damping forces.

Hydraulic BOTTOM-OUT technology (HBC)
EXT Racing Shox introduced this feature at the World Rally Car in 1994. The Hydraulic Bottom-Out system allows for progressive compression and allows you to ride with a softer spring for better and improved traction. The HBC system only controls the last 15% of the stroke. So you can count on a softer feel and great support in the last millimeters of your bike's rear stroke. Over 50% of the hydraulic power is dedicated exclusively to bottom-out control. This allows us to use a smaller stop ring and you can count on every millimeter of your stroke. The V3 HBC system, which is included with the STORIA model, is not externally adjustable.
