OEM Packaging / Goods
OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) Goods are original parts from the manufacturer, which are primarily intended for bicycle manufacturers, assembly or service.
Its main advantage is its lower price compared to aftermarket (AM) goods intended for the end customer.
OEM goods are usually :
- delivered without original packaging , often just in a bag
- without instructions, manual or additional accessories (you can find the instructions online)
- may have different stickers, color design or minor technical modifications (different levers, caps, etc.).
Technically, OEM products are of the same quality as standard products , the difference is mainly in packaging and intended use.
