Galfer produces several types of brake pad compounds that are specific to outdoor conditions or the cycling sector. All compounds are organic.

STANDARD (black): universal, these are suitable for all conditions. They have a harder compound and therefore the longest life. Their braking power is reliable in all conditions.
ADVANCED (red): for rain and mud, excel in extreme conditions, have a “softer” compound and wear out faster.
PRO (green) : RACE-READY, no break-in required. They are immediately effective and have great dosability, can withstand higher thermal stress and are excellent in the wet.
ROAD (blue): their compound is tuned specifically for road bikes and their smaller tire contact patch.
E-BIKE AND DH SPECIALS (purple) : are developed for higher thermal stress, which will be appreciated primarily by DH racers and e-bike riders, but not only them. Also, travelers who expect long descents and braking will be happy.
TRIAL (yellow): a compound developed for trials. It has an instant start-up, very readable dosage and an overall sharper performance.
