The Magura MDR-P brake disc is the latest model designed primarily for 29" downhill bikes, but also for heavier E-Bikes, tandem bikes, or heavier riders. Excellent temperature resistance and low fading index.

WARNING: The MDR-P model is a "floating" disc. From the factory or after running in, it has or may have play between the aluminum carrier and the steel disc and is more difficult to center/adjust in the caliper. This is not a defect. A common symptom is also a rattling sound.
Please note: a centerlock adapter cannot be used!

Dovetail Interlink Technology patented connection between the carrier and the disc. After heating, the steel part expands and "bites" into the aluminum carrier. This significantly increases the rigidity of the disc and creates a thermal bridge around the entire circumference (rapid cooling). When cold, the disc may have a slight clearance between the rivets.
The Magura MDR-P brake disc is recommended for the MAGURA MT brake series and is also compatible with disc brakes from other brands.
